This was surprisingly good! I wasn't so keen on the first book; Winter Interlude (California Series) but after a year this book popped up and I was curious. I actually really loved it and found it to be really enjoyable. The premise was interesting, the H and h had had a brief and passionate encounter (not sex) when she was 17 and he a graduate student. The h was freaked out and rejected him as she thought he was toying with her. 10 years later and the H wants revenge and lures the h into working with him. His trap backfires and he is once again deeply drawn to the h. I loved both characters and found the h's vulnerability very credible. The misunderstanding was brief and the hea was lovely. I've downloaded the next in the series already.Product details

I gave this book 5 stars because it was good and very steamy. I am hooked on Sandy's books. Will be reading the remaining series.

Sandy Loyd writes so that you picture yourself inside the book. Very descriptive! I have read 3 of her books so far, and I love them.
If you're looking for a cute, sexy read, this is it. The characters play well off each other and the story is sweet, but with enough sizzle to keep the pages turning. I find that once I pick up one of Sandy's novels, I can't put it down.
This was the best story in the California series as far as I am concerned. Judith and dev were perfect together and the story got better as it progressed. I think you need to read the series in the right order to follow the storyline. Great reading just the right mix of romance and sex for all of us romantically.
This book was so enjoyable. I loved the storyline, as well as the characters in this book. This book is a full length novel, and was not rushed at all. I really like this authors style of writing. I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.
